HVAC Website Design in Toronto
How I designed a heating company website that explains infrared and floor heating systems clearly — and turns technical interest into quote requests.
The Challenge
Arkon Heating needed more than an online brochure — they needed a website that works as a sales tool. Like most businesses in the contractors & trades space, their customers research online first and judge credibility in seconds.
What the business needed
- Product pages that simplify technical systems
- Trust signals for a considered purchase
- Easy quote and consultation requests
- Local SEO for heating searches
Short answer
Arkon Heating is a contractors & trades business in Toronto, ON. Lead Web Studio designed and hand-coded the site — mobile-first, structured for local search, no template and no page builder. A build of this scope is $899–$2,999 one-time and goes live in 5–7 days once content is ready. The live site is at arkonheating.com.
Technical Products, Explained Simply

When the search happens, the decision is already made
A furnace fails at eleven at night, an appliance floods a kitchen, a handyman job has been on the list for a month and today is the day. In every case the visitor is not evaluating options — they are looking for whoever answers. Arkon Heating's site is arranged around that: what is serviced, where, how fast, and a phone number that never leaves the screen.
Seasonality shapes the structure. Heating and cooling demand swings hard twice a year, so the site is built so the relevant service can lead without a rebuild, and maintenance plans are given their own path for the customers worth keeping year-round.
Coverage has to be explicit. "Toronto and the GTA" is not enough when someone is deciding whether you will actually drive to them tonight. Naming the areas plainly, and matching that to the Google Business Profile, is what turns a "near me" search into a call.
Questions about a build like this
How fast can the site be live?+
Usually 5 to 7 days. If you are heading into a heating or cooling season, earlier is better — demand doubles for a few weeks and a site Google has not finished crawling misses it.
What does it cost?+
$899 one-time for up to 10 pages, $1,499 for a fuller site with separate service and area pages, $2,999 where booking or maintenance-plan signup is involved.
Can it take service bookings?+
Yes — anything from a simple request form to scheduled booking with time slots, depending on how you actually dispatch. For emergency work the phone still converts best, so it stays prominent either way.
Will it help with "near me" and emergency searches?+
That is what the structure is for: named service areas, local business schema and pages built around the words people actually type at midnight. Pair it with a properly optimised Google Business Profile, from $149, or neither half works.
