Law firm websites in Toronto, written to the Law Society's marketing rules
I build sites for Ontario lawyers and licensed paralegals at a fixed price. Every claim on them can be checked, and the site goes live 5 to 7 days after the text is settled.
- From $899 one-time
- Licence type on every page
- No contract
Rule 4.2-1, and what it changes on your website
In Ontario, a firm's website counts as marketing. These are the lines of the rule that decide what a legal site may say, and what I do about each one.
-
4.2-1(a)
demonstrably true, accurate and verifiable
Each licence goes on a credentials page as plain text, with its year and number, next to a photo of the certificate. A client can check it in the public register.
-
Commentary [3](d)
provided by licensed lawyers, by licensed paralegals or both
The licence type sits in the first screen, the footer and the schema data Google reads. A paralegal is never called a lawyer anywhere on the site.
-
Commentary [2](a)
past results are not necessarily indicative of future results
If you publish an amount recovered or a win, that statement goes in the same block as the result, not in small print at the bottom.
-
Commentary [5]
superlative titles such as "best", "super", "#1"
Headings say what you handle and where. I keep superlatives and unverifiable awards out of the copy I write for you.
-
4.3-1
specialist ... unless ... certified by the Law Society
Pages are called practice areas. The word specialist appears only if you hold the certification.
Quoted from Chapter 4 of the Rules of Professional Conduct, Law Society of Ontario. You approve every page before it goes live.
Practices and companies that hired me
Other licensed practices I have built for
Each one has a licence or a register between the visitor and the first call, the same problem a law firm has.

If your practice is immigration work, the College rules for consultants are covered on web design for immigration consultants. Accounting firms and mortgage brokers have pages of their own: accounting firms and CPAs, mortgage brokers.
What the paralegal practice site in Richmond Hill has
An immigration and criminal law practice run by a licensed paralegal. This is what I built into it.
- A page for each immigration and criminal matter the practice takes, and every page ends in a consultation request.
- The consultation form sits in the first screen. A Cloudflare Turnstile check stops spam without picture puzzles.
- "Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario" is shown under the headline, beside the Google rating and the languages spoken.
- A payments page takes fees by card through Stripe, and the office gets an email for every payment.
- A credentials page lists 9 licences and memberships as text, licence numbers included.
- 89 articles, each with an author card that links to that credentials page.

Which package fits which practice
One-time prices in CAD, fixed in writing before I start. The full list is on the pricing page.
A home page, a page per practice area, about, contact with a map, and a consultation form.
Adds lawyer profiles, a blog section for legal guides and Google Business Profile integration.
Booking, custom intake forms and a card payment page, plus schema markup for every page.
People search "immigration lawyer" plus a city, so the site is only half the work. Monthly SEO plans start at $300, and a Google Maps profile setup is $149 one-time.
Questions lawyers ask before hiring me
Can you build a site for a licensed paralegal, not a lawyer?
Yes, the Richmond Hill practice above is one. The licence type is stated on every page and the paralegal is never called a lawyer, because the Law Society asks marketing to say who provides the service.
How long does a law firm website take?
5 to 7 days of building once the text is settled. On legal sites the text takes longer than the build, since every statement has to be accurate. I can draft it and you correct it.
Can clients pay consultation fees and invoices on the site?
Yes, through Stripe. The card fields are Stripe's own, so card numbers never pass through your website, and your office gets an email for each payment that goes through.
Will you write up our case results?
Only the ones you choose to publish. A result that names an amount or a success rate goes out with the statement the rule asks for: past results do not predict future ones, and outcomes depend on the facts.
Who owns the website when it is done?
You do: the domain, the files and the text. There is no contract, and if you move to another company I hand over every login.
Do you work with firms outside Toronto?
Yes. My office is in North York and I meet firms across Toronto and York Region in person. Practices elsewhere in Ontario work with me by video call and email.
What clients say after the launch
"Working with Lead Web Studio was a great experience from start to finish. They really took the time to understand our requirements and made us feel like they genuinely cared about creating the right website for us. Communication was always easy, they were responsive to our feedback, and the final website turned out exactly how we had hoped. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for a team that feels like a partner, not just a service provider."
Ahmed Imam
"Worked with Liubomyr on my website. Excellent skills, excellent workmanship, always attentive to changing requirements and design requests. Would gladly use the studio for any additional work we have and gladly recommend them to any prospecting client."
Michael A
"Excellent studio. Qualified consultations. Professional service."
