Accessibility Statement

Lead Web Studio is committed to making leadlls.com usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Here's where we stand, and how to reach me if something isn't working for you.

Our commitment

Accessibility isn't an afterthought here โ€” it's part of how I build every website, including my own. I work toward the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by Ontario's AODA and accessibility law across Canada.

Conformance status

This website is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means the site meets the standard across the vast majority of criteria, with any remaining items being minor or actively being addressed. I review accessibility on an ongoing basis as the site grows.

What's in place

  • A "Skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
  • Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios for text and buttons
  • Descriptive alternative text on images
  • Clear, logical heading structure on every page
  • Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator
  • Properly labelled forms and clearly named links and buttons
  • Correct page language, and a responsive, mobile-first layout
  • Respect for the "reduced motion" system setting

Known limitations

A few things are worth being upfront about. Full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance depends on ongoing testing โ€” including manual screen-reader review โ€” and some third-party content (such as embedded maps or scripts) isn't fully within my control. If you hit a barrier anywhere on the site, I want to know so I can fix it.

Found an accessibility problem? Tell me directly. Email info@leadlls.com with the page and what went wrong, and I'll personally look into it and reply. Accessibility feedback goes straight to me, not a queue.

Need this for your own website?

I do accessibility audits and remediation for other Canadian businesses too โ€” the same work you see here, applied to your site so it meets AODA and WCAG standards. Learn more about website accessibility compliance, or get in touch.
