What this tool does — and what it doesn't
This tool places an image of your signature onto your PDF — the same result as printing a document, signing it by hand and scanning it back. It is meant for everyday paperwork you sign yourself.
It does not create a certified or cryptographically sealed signature. There is no identity verification, no audit trail, no tamper-evident certificate and no timestamp from a trusted authority — the things dedicated e-signature platforms such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign provide.
If the other side may dispute who signed, or if a law, lender, court, insurer or regulator requires a certified electronic signature, use a certified provider instead. Everything here happens inside your browser: your documents are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone else.

Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDFs are opened, displayed and re-saved entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server, so nobody — including me — can see them. That is also why it keeps working if your internet drops after the page has loaded.
Can I sign several documents at once?
Yes. Drop as many PDFs as you like — they appear as tabs above the preview. Tick “Put it on every document” and one click places your signature in the same spot on all of them. When you download, everything comes back as a single ZIP archive.
How does the typed signature work?
You type your name and pick one of four real handwriting fonts. The result is drawn as a clean, high-resolution image and placed on the page. The fonts are stored on this website, so nothing is requested from Google or any other service while you use the tool.
Is this signature legally binding?
It is an image of your signature placed on the page, exactly like printing, signing and scanning. In many everyday situations that is accepted. It is not a certified digital signature: there is no identity check, audit trail or tamper-evident seal. When a law, lender, court or insurer requires a certified electronic signature, use a dedicated provider such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign.
Can more than one person sign?
This tool is built for the case where you are the only signer. There is no invite, no signing order and no email tracking. If you need several people to sign in sequence with a record of who signed when, that is what paid e-signature platforms are for.
Can I sign a scanned document?
Yes. A scan is still a PDF, so it opens and signs the same way. The signature is placed on top of the scanned image.
Is there a limit?
None. Sign as many documents as you like, free, with no watermark and no signup. Very large PDFs simply take a moment longer to display, because your own device is doing the work.
