Psychotherapy and counselling websites written to your College's advertising rules
I build sites for registered psychotherapists, counsellors and group practices in Ontario. Every page is checked against CRPO Standard 6.2 before you see it, and the price is fixed in writing: $899, $1,499 or $2,999.
- Registered psychotherapists in private practice
- Counselling and couples practices
- Group practices with several therapists
- Online-only practices with no office address
What the College rules out, and what goes on the page instead
A psychotherapist's website counts as advertising, so on every page I write for you I treat four parts of the standard this way.
6.2.2Client testimonials and a reviews sliderYour registration, your training and the methods you use, each with a short plain explanation6.2 notesGoogle stars in the header or in the page codeNo rating anywhere on the site. People can still review you on Google on their own6.2.4 (2)"Toronto's best therapist" or "a unique approach"Who your sessions are for, and in which languages and cities you see clients6.2.4 (1)"Feel better in six sessions"What happens in a first session, how long it is and how to book itSource: CRPO Professional Practice Standard 6.2, Advertising. One therapy site I built, read page by page
A registered psychotherapist who sees adults and teenagers online in Ontario and Quebec.
- Concerns
- 11 pages, one per concern or client group: anxiety, burnout, teens, couples, immigration and more
- Methods
- 6 pages that explain CBT, ACT, EFT, IFS, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy in plain words
- Address
- None. The site names the cities she serves online instead of a street
- Languages
- English and Russian pages, each paired with its translation. Sessions are also offered in Romanian
- Articles
- Any study number in an article is checked against its PubMed record before it publishes
The full psychotherapy case study covers the design choices. For a practice in the city itself, see psychotherapy websites in Toronto.
What a client types, and the page that should answer it
People search for one problem, one method or one language at a time. A home page cannot rank for all of them, so each gets its own page. That structure is the base of my SEO plans too.
Which package fits which practice
One-time prices in Canadian dollars, the same as on my pricing page. Sites go live 5 to 7 days after the text is approved.
A solo therapist
Home, about you, a few concern pages, fees and contact.
- Up to 10 pages
- Contact form
- Google Maps integration
- 30 days of support after launch
A practice that writes
A page per concern and per method, plus articles.
- Up to 20 pages
- Blog section
- Google Business Profile integration
- 60 days of priority support
A group practice or clinic
Several therapists, each with a profile, and booking online.
- Unlimited pages
- Custom forms and booking functionality
- Schema markup
- 90 days of priority maintenance support
My monthly SEO plans normally show a client's Google reviews on their site. For a therapy practice I switch that part off and keep the rest. The request form carries no analytics or ad tags, so nothing a client types reaches Google or Facebook, and it works with a keyboard alone, as in my accessibility compliance work.
Other regulated practices I have built for
Each one has its own regulator and its own rules about what the site may say.
What two clients wrote about working with me
"I had a great experience working with Liubomyr on my website. The website was completed quickly β within just 7β10 days β and the quality exceeded my expectations. He was always ready to answer my questions at any time and made sure every detail was handled properly. He truly works until the client is 100% satisfied."
Carolina VintuPsychotherapist, Google review of my studio
"Did not expect such a good job! It was so easy β I just provided the services I offer and my company name, and in 4 days my website and Google Maps were done. Really good job!"

Questions therapists ask me before a build
Can my website show reviews from my clients?
No. CRPO Standard 6.2.2 says registrants do not request testimonials or use them in advertising, and the commentary asks you not to promote third-party reviews. I leave reviews and star ratings off the site and out of its schema.
Do you build for counsellors who are not registered psychotherapists?
Yes. The page structure is the same. I write the pages to the rules of the body you belong to, and you approve each page before launch.
Do you build sites for behavioural health programs and neurofeedback clinics?
Yes. Each program or service gets its own page: who delivers it, who it is for, what a first visit involves and how to book. The advertising rules follow the regulator of the person delivering the service.
How much does a therapy website cost?
A solo therapist's site of up to ten pages is $899. A practice with articles usually needs the $1,499 package, and a group practice with booking needs the $2,999 one. Whichever it is, I put the price in writing before I start.
How long does it take?
5 to 7 days once the text is approved. A therapy site usually needs one review round with you, and that round is part of the schedule.
Do I have to write the pages myself?
No. I draft them from what you tell me about your work and your training. You correct anything that does not sound like you.
Can the site be in two languages?
Yes. The practice above runs in English and Russian, and every page links to its translation so Google shows the right one.
