Moving Company Website Design
A moving company in Concord, Ontario, came to me with a logo, a phone number and social pages. I designed and built the website from an empty folder, then set up the Google profile to match it: the same services, the same cities, the same phone number.
A quote form that asks what a mover needs
A moving price depends on the date, both addresses and what has to go up or down the stairs. So the form asks for the type of move, the date, where from and where to, and its details box suggests bedrooms, stairs or elevator, and heavy items. The request arrives by email, and a bot check keeps spam out.
A page for every job and every city
Someone moving a condo and someone moving an office ask different questions, so each one gets a page of their own.
I wrote down what a mover's site has to include on the page about web design for moving companies.
The people in the photos are the real crew
The owner sent pictures from real moves. I picked the ones where no face shows, and corrected only the light and the colour.

On a phone, the call button stays in reach
The number sits in the header, and a round call button stays on screen while the page scrolls. The menu opens to the full screen with large links, a call button and a quote button.
Under the headline, a small truck drives along a dashed road. I checked nine kinds of page at six widths, from a small phone to a laptop.

- Service area
- 20 places, with the address hidden
- Connected

The Google profile tells the same story
The profile already existed, with Transportation service as its main category. Someone looking for movers expects a mover, so I changed that, wrote the services and the description to match the site, and set the places the crew travels to.
The address stays hidden because the crew goes to the customer. Work like this is Google Maps setup, and keeping a profile current is Google Maps management.
Questions about a build like this
What does a website like this cost?+
Website packages run from $899 to $2,999, depending on how many pages you need. They are all on the pricing page, and the price is fixed in writing before I start.
Can I use photos of my own crew?+
Yes, and I recommend it. Send me what your crew has on their phones. I choose the ones that work and crop them, so a face shows only if you want it to.
Is the Google profile included with the website?+
It is a separate service. Google Maps setup is one-time, from $149, and monthly management is also from $149.
Can you also run ads for a moving company?+
Yes. Google Ads or Facebook and Instagram ads are $300 a month per platform, and the ad budget goes straight to Google or Meta.
Run a moving company?
Tell me your cities and your services, and I will tell you which pages to build first. See website packages from $899.
