Websites for data analytics firms, written so each person who reads them finds their part

A data or BI project is rarely bought by one person. I build sites for analytics and data consulting firms in Ontario with a place on the page for each reader, at a fixed price of $899, $1,499 or $2,999.

A North York data lab: promise first, tools last

My closest build to your field is the site of a data recovery lab in North York. Most of its visitors are not technical, so every page is written in three layers, the same order an analytics firm needs.

  1. A plain promiseData recovery done in-house in North York, said on the first screen in words anyone understands.
  2. Concrete casesThe devices it recovers from: hard drives, SSDs, RAID and NAS systems, phones, memory cards.
  3. The detail for the evaluatorThe lab tools by name and the clean bench, further down for the person who checks properly.

One sentence, rewritten for the buyer

Most of the work on a data firm's site is this exercise, repeated on every page. An example of the kind of line I rewrite:

Before: true, but nobody can buy it

We help organizations drive data-driven decision-making through end-to-end analytics solutions.

After: a manager knows what they get

We connect your sales and inventory data and send your managers one dashboard every Monday morning.

The second line names the data, the output and how often it arrives. The analyst still gets the stack and the method, on the same page, two blocks lower.

When you sell a product, the screen does the explaining

For a US claims management software company I built feature pages around annotated screenshots, each one ending in a demo booking. If your firm sells a platform or a client portal, the same approach applies: show the real screen and label what it does.

More on that build in the SaaS website case study, and on websites for software companies in general.

Businesses I have built for

"Working with Lead Web Studio was a great experience from start to finish. They really took the time to understand our requirements and made us feel like they genuinely cared about creating the right website for us. Communication was always easy, they were responsive to our feedback, and the final website turned out exactly how we had hoped. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for a team that feels like a partner, not just a service provider."

Ahmed Imam, Google review

"Worked with Liubomyr on my website. Excellent skills, excellent workmanship, always attentive to changing requirements and design requests. Would gladly use the studio for any additional work we have and gladly recommend them to any prospecting client."

What analytics firms ask before they hire me

How long does a website for a data analytics firm take?

The build takes 5 to 7 days once your content is ready. Plan one extra round for the sentence that explains what your firm does: getting it right usually takes longer than building the page it sits on.

What does it cost?

A small consultancy usually fits the $899 site (10 pages). Firms that need a page per industry and a blog take the $1,499 one, and a product, portal or integration means the $2,999 build. You get the number in writing before I start.

Can you show our dashboards without showing our clients' data?

Send me screenshots built on demo data, or with client names and figures removed. Nothing goes live until you have approved every page.

Will the site load fast?

It is hand-coded with no page builder and no plugin stack, so pages typically load in about a second. A technical buyer notices a slow site, so speed counts as proof as well as a ranking input.

Can you work around our product, portal or current CMS?

Usually yes. I can build the marketing site next to an existing app or client portal, or move an old site to code without losing its rankings. Send me what you have and I will tell you what is realistic.

Do you also do SEO for analytics and BI searches?

Yes, as a separate monthly plan: $300, $500 or $1,000 a month, with new service pages, articles and Google Maps posts every month and no contract. The plans are on the SEO page.

Tell me what your firm sells

Send a line about your services and your current site, if you have one. I reply with a fixed price and what the first version would cover.

I read each request myself, and your phone and email go nowhere except into my reply.
