Roofing Contractor Website Design

A roofing, siding and gutter company in Mundelein, Illinois. I designed and built the website from an empty folder and drew the logo. The page people land on lets them work out a ballpark price and ask for an inspection without calling first.

A roof price people can work out alone

The first question about a new roof is what it costs. On this site a visitor enters the size of the house, picks the type, and sees a ballpark at once.

Next to it sits a sample of the written estimate, line by line, so they can see what the price is made of before anyone comes out.

The proof

One roof, shown in the order the work is done

The homepage follows a single replacement in six photos, from chalk marks on the old shingles to the finished roof, with a line about each step.

The pages

A page for each kind of job

Someone with a storm-damaged roof and someone planning a replacement want different answers, so each of the five services has its own page among the thirteen on the site.

I wrote down what else a roofer's site should have on the page about web design for roofing companies.

On a phone, two buttons never leave the screen

Call and Free inspection stay at the bottom of every page, so nobody has to scroll back up to reach the company.

The form asks only for a name, a phone number and the address of the house. A test request goes through it every week, so a broken form would not sit unnoticed.

FAQs

Questions from roofers

Should a roofer show prices on a website?+

A ballpark helps, as long as the page says the exact number comes after the inspection. Here the calculator gives a range and says what can raise it.

Do you work with companies in the US?+

Yes. This client is in Illinois, and all of the work was done remotely.

What does a site like this cost?+

My three website packages cost $899, $1,499 and $2,999, and the price follows how many pages you need. The pricing page lists what each one includes.

Can you run ads for a roofer too?+

Yes. I manage Google Ads and Facebook and Instagram ads for $300 a month on each platform. What you spend on the ads themselves you pay to that platform directly.

Run a roofing company?

Tell me your towns and your services, and I will tell you what your site should show first. See website packages from $899.
