Websites for staircase and railing companies in Ontario

I design and hand-code sites for stair shops, railing installers and stair-part fabricators. Every stair style gets its own gallery, and every gallery ends in a consultation request. One payment of $899, $1,499 or $2,999, fixed in writing before I start.

  1. Homebest work
  2. Stairsgallery
  3. Railingsgallery
  4. Glassgallery
  5. Design consultationrequest form

The route through the stair workshop site I built in Concord, from the first visit to the request.

A site I built for a staircase workshop in Concord

The home page, with a floating stair and glass railing on the first screen.
  1. Three galleries, not oneStairs, railings and glass each have a page, so a buyer who only needs a new railing never scrolls past the staircases.
  2. Large photos instead of paragraphsCustom stairs are judged by eye, so the galleries use large-format photos and keep the text under them short.
  3. A consultation request at the end of each galleryA visitor who likes a photo is one click away from asking for a design consultation.
  4. Local search around VaughanTitles, the map and the pages are set up for staircase searches near Concord.

The whole build is in the staircase company case study. A company in the same area may also want my page for staircase companies in Vaughan.

What a buyer decides before calling a stair shop

Each of these choices gets a place on your site, so the people who call already know what they want.

The decision
What your site shows for it
Straight, L-shaped, curved or floating
A gallery per shape, from your own jobs, with the room around the stair in the photo.
Open or closed risers
Both side by side, and a line on which one suits a home with small children or pets.
Tread wood and stain
The species you stock and how you match treads to the floor next to the stair, which is why my sites for flooring companies point the other way too.
Wood pickets, iron balusters or glass
A page each. Glass gets the most questions, so it works like the site I made for a glass railing installer.
Refinish the old stair or replace it
When you recommend each one and what the first visit involves.
Supply only or installed
The towns where your crew installs, and whether you ship parts beyond them.

Two kinds of people call a stair shop

Homeowners with one staircase

They come back to the site three or four times, often with a partner, before they ask for a visit.

  • Galleries worth a second look
  • The steps from measuring to install, with real lead times from you
  • A request form that takes photos of the current stair

Builders and contractors with several houses

They want to know you can repeat a stair on time across a project.

  • A page for new construction and multi-unit work
  • A form that accepts drawings and the number of units
  • Your service area in towns, not a radius

Four more sites for the trades a stair buyer also hires

The homeowner who orders a staircase is often also choosing railings, a kitchen and new siding. These four sites sell to that person. Builders of outdoor steps have their own page on deck and fence builder websites.

Michael A, Google review

"There are people who simply do their job. And there are people who put their soul into it. From the first conversation to the completion of the work, I felt that I was dealing with people who truly love their job. Every detail was thought out, every issue was resolved quickly, and the result exceeded my expectations."

What stair company owners ask me

Can the site give a price estimate for a staircase?

Yes, as a form that asks for the stair shape, the number of steps, the railing type and photos, so you can price the job before the visit. It is part of the $2,999 plan, which includes custom forms.

Where do the gallery photos come from?

From your finished jobs. Sharp phone photos taken in daylight are enough; I crop and resize every one so the gallery still loads fast.

Will a big gallery slow the site down?

No. Images are saved in a modern format, sized for each screen width, and the ones further down load only when the visitor scrolls to them.

How long does a staircase company website take?

About 5 to 7 days of build time once the photos and the list of products are ready. The photos usually set the date.

Do you only work with stair companies near Vaughan?

No. The two Concord sites are close to my North York office, and I work with stair and railing companies anywhere in Ontario by phone and video, or in person across the GTA.

Can I add new jobs to the galleries myself?

Yes. On the $1,499 plan I show you how in a training session, or I add them for you on the $100 a month maintenance plan.

Tell me about your stair company

Send the address of your current site, or a few photos of recent jobs if you have no site yet. I reply with a fixed price the same or next business day.
